The Augusta Boys & Girls Club has a mental health license with Case Managers on staff to work directly with teens and their entire family.

We are not counselors, but we have access to them if they are needed. Primarily, we help students make connections to people and places that can help them move forward ... it could be as simple as a gym membership or a job.

The Tool Shed Project was created in 2006 to help young people. The name, "Tool Shed Project," relates to the desire to help both teens and their families build better lives. The Tool Shed Project provides case management to ages 0-20.

When young people are struggling with relationships, addictions, failing in school, or simply want someone to talk with, we have have case managers on site that can help. We partner with school districts in a variety of ways - teen parent programs, special education support, and day treatment programs are all eligible to make referrals. In addition, young people can self-refer or bring a friend in crisis to the teen center.

Geographically, we have clients from Clinton to Gardiner in a variety of school districts, although many of our clients come from Augusta Schools.

It is as easy as a phone call to The Augusta Boys & Girls Club. (207)-622-0452

Take Time for Teens

Kids who have experienced negative family patterns can make changes in their own lives, but they need the caring and energy of positive adult role models.
